
Wizz Air Announces Pilot Recruitment Open Days in Armenia
Support A1+!Yerevan, May 30, — Wizz Air, EMEA’s most environmentally sustainable airline[1], is thrilled to announce two Open Days for pilot recruitment in Armenia. Apart from hiring experienced pilots, the airline also is looking for aspired professionals who would like to become a pilot and announce Wizz Air Pilot Academy open days. These events will take place on June 2nd June 3rd at the ibis Yerevan Center, 5/1 Northern Ave, Yerevan 0001, Armenia.
After its recent base announcement in Yerevan, with new aircraft deliveries, more routes and increased frequencies, the airline is committed to hiring more flight crew. Currently, Wizz Air is actively recruiting Captains and First Officers with EASA license to join its Yerevan base. As Wizz Air continues its expansion in the region, this event provides a unique opportunity for experienced pilots to join our team and contribute to the airline’s success story.
The Pilot Open Days are designed to provide attendees with all the information they need about a career at Wizz Air. During the sessions, pilots will:

- Understand Training and Employment Conditions — Gain insights into our training programs, type-rating opportunities, and employment terms.

Wizz Air operates one of the youngest and modern fleet consisting of 234 Airbus A320 and A321 family aircraft. The carrier is dedicated to nearly doubling the size of its fleet, growing to a total of 500 Airbus 321neo and A321XLR aircraft by 2033. Wizz Air is also proud to have a strong culture of diversity and colleagues of over 100 nationalities, and continues to relentlessly recruit new colleagues from all over Europe and beyond for 2025 and onwards.
For those who just wanted to obtain the profession in aviation as a pilot, Wizz Air also open doors to join Wizz Air Pilot Academy. It is a unique pilot training program, giving a new generation of pilots with little to no previous aviation experience the opportunity to obtain a Commercial Pilot License and the prospective of working as a pilot at Wizz Air, thanks to the high-quality pilot training starting from scratch, with the support of an experienced flight school and in line with Wizz Air's training standards. A candidate must be older than 18 years, be able to swim 50 meters without any aid, has minimum high school degree, be fluent in English and have good understanding of Mathematics and Physics.
